Take a breath of fresh air – for your beauty!

In the next few months it will get warmer, brighter and more colourful. More sun, more light – the nature and the fashion play with colours. So much beauty is also reflected by our appearance.

Spring has come once the sun sends its warm rays on the earth and nature awakens from its sleepy winter. Spring is when ladybugs rush around between the branches, butterflies settle on flowers and bushes and birds are chirping in the trees. Spring makes it all much more attractive. With its launch, we enjoy a very natural wellness program. We don’t need to do much for it – how nice!

The sun

Our body and our total well-being have missed it most. Once the sun starts to send its warming rays on the earth, spring is back. The skin still frighteningly pale from winter’s coldness develops in the light of the mild March and April sun, a pink tender tone on the cheeks. Those who just can’t wait, are helped by some soft rouge. Important: despite soft rays don’t forget the sun protection.

The smell

The first flower buds exude their tender floral aroma. Spring smells like forsythia, cherry and apple blossom, like hyacinths and daffodils. Fragrances influence our well-being. While a perfume entirely attracts our sense of smell, essential oils have a much broader effect. Besides Psyche and Spirit they also act on a physical level, since they get through the skin into the bloodstream where they have a disinfection, purifying and stimulating effect, among others.

The air

Spring drives us to fresh air. Leave behind the dry, stuffy rooms and let the soft spring breeze gently touch your face instead! It clears your mind and ensures a clear,rosy complexion.

The light

Very little light, early darkness and seemingly shorter days have been tiring us quickly over the winter months. In spring the sun again increases its radius and thus gives us more light. The cold, white winter light gives way to a cosy delicate yellow glow.With the warmer minds the mood rises and we come alive.

The emotions

With balmy temperatures our heart and our feelings are equally overwhelmed. Blame it on the hormones. They react to the light that is passed to the pineal gland via our brain. There the sleep hormone melatonin is produced – in winter more,less in spring. Less need for sleep and increased activity increase sexual arousal. An ideal time for a new love or to re-fall in love with your old partner.

What Spring brings along

Movement: Spending a lot more time in fresh air. A walk through fields and parks freed from ice and snow, a bike ride to run errands or to go to work. All fair-weather joggers should again start running.

 

Product change: With rising temperatures the natural sebum production changes. Therefore check your toiletries on Spring suitability. Change from reach winter creams to lighter emulsions with less fat.

 

Sun protection: The sun’s rays are already strong enough to damage the skin in the long term. In addition to sunscreen a hat and sunglasses should be put into the handbag.

 

Cleaning: To clarify the pores after the winter, first exfoliate then apply a cleaning mask. Products based on camomile or algae are recommended. Ideal for blemished skin: masks containing mud from dead sea or healing earth.

 

Indulgence: Look forward to the new which Spring brings along: Inspect the new fashion in the stores and think about a new hairstyle. Put some fresh and colourful flowers in the vase and re-decorate e your home. Enjoy your first ice-cream – all things that make life much more beautiful now.
