HYPOXI Australia opened its first studio in Sydney in 2005. Health- and image-conscious Australians embraced the concept wholeheartedly. Today, the network has grown to over 60 studios across five states. HYPOXI Australia proudly celebrated its tenth anniversary in 2015.

The HYPOXI method is seen by customers as the perfect complement to their fitness training. It targets those stubborn "potholes" that are largely resistant to conventional training.

Since 2016, HYPOXI Australia has been part of the Fitness and Lifestyle Group (FLG), the market leader in fitness, health, and wellness in the Pacific-Asian region, headquartered in Australia. FLG currently operates 24 HYPOXI studios in Australia, integrated into select Fitness First and Goodlife Health Clubs, and plans are in place to open further HYPOXI "club-within-a-club" studios.

The "club within a club" concept offers customers personalized HYPOXI programs including coaching, as well as access to extended and complementary services such as fitness classes and personal training. By transforming previously underutilized spaces into a HYPOXI area, HYPOXI Australia was able to significantly increase revenue per square meter in selected studios, thus generating a successful and profitable business model for FLG.

HYPOXI Australia's studio network also includes around 40 independently managed licensed or franchised studios, making it one of the world's largest networks of authorized HYPOXI studios.
